- Economic Stewardship: by demanding an on-time balanced budget, responsible management of City assets and fighting for a meaningful foreclosure moratorium & mortgage modifications.
- Fight for Jobs: by giving residents preferred status for City jobs & contracts, increasing the number of City jobs and enticing businesses in the City to use a resident-based workforce.
- Fight Crime: by prioritizing the budget to allow for more precincts, more police and pushing for collaboration between Detroit police, County, and DPS officers.
- Develop Our Youth: by encouraging community-based tutoring and mentorship, enticing City businesses and contractors to provide internships and externships, and strengthening the partnership with and the advocacy for the education systems in Detroit.
- Improve City Services: by developing a customer service focused culture, 1st class 21st century training for city employees and making the delivery of services quicker and more responsive to the needs of businesses and residents in our neighborhoods.
- Improve Detroit's Image: by conducting the City's business professionally and with integrity, fighting blight and growing neighborhood businesses that are supported by neighborhood re-growth efforts.
